An event they most likely thought was going to be the moment that tipped the scales of public opinion in their favor to further a culture of fear & hysteria while demonizing the sumnation of everything they hate (young, wealthy, southern, white fraternity members)… now suddenly in an instant it becomes a moment that likely creates more mainstream skeptics of their views than anything that came before it.
Aside from the SJWs I talked about earlier, my social media is starting to fill up with cries for UVA and the fraternity to sue RS and put them out of business. And I’ve seen a lot of mainstream media authors and commenters starting to push back hard on due process, burden of proof, etc. And these are average, not especially politically active people. A small part of my faith is restored.
But for the SJWs, talk about having the rug pulled out from under you. I’m sure we’re going to see them continue to double down, kicking and screaming.
